Today we’re proud to introduce to you the fourth chapter of our Planning Awareness Tool Kit—“What is Public Transit?” Click here to read it.

We believe information empowers people. We want Detroiters to be as informed as possible about the type of work being done to create a Strategic Framework Plan for our city. By posting the —“What is Public Transit?” chapter online, making hard copies of it available at our HomeBase, and handing them out while we engage with people in the community; it’s our hope we empower Detroiters to become involved in charting a new course for the future of our city.

If you have never been involved in an urban planning process, this chapter, and the previous 3 chapters we released serve as a great tutorial guide. Becoming familiar with this fourth chapter will prove helpful as you become more involved in the Long Term Planning process.

Check back here often for the latest. If you have questions, call us at 313-259-4407.
