In honor of Detroit’s greatest asset…it’s people, the Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning is hosting the photo exhibit “Detroit Street Photography” by Bob Oren. Bob’s photos vividly encapsulate a slice of Detroit life by capturing the essence of people, buildings and events.

“Detroit is rich with character and personality, and I enjoy connecting with the city through photography. While the city is constantly changing and evolving, there is also a fierce sense of history, and I try to blend these contrary aspects into my images,” says Oren.

“Detroit Street Photography” is on display until June 8, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the HomeBase in the Eastern Market. The exhibit is open to the public and admission is free. Call (313) 259-4409 or email [email protected] for more information.
