Community input continues to be a critical piece of Detroit Works Project Long Term Planning’s process. What’s been said so far? Take a look at the public comments below. The comments were collected at community forums, planning cluster-based meetings, summit meetings and through a survey that was available on the previous Detroit Works Project website –– all from September 2010 to May 2011. These meetings were critical in helping shape the split between Long Term and Short Term planning, giving each the focus they deserve. Each comment has been read and reviewed. Additionally, Detroit Works Project staff summarized these comments throughout the Sep-May planning process; summaries have been available on the Detroit Works Project website since December 2011. Both the comments and summaries continue to inform the process, as the ongoing and inevitable evolution of planning moves forward. And, of course, we want to keep hearing from you.
