How To Engage

We want to engage with you where you live and socialize.  Our goal is to connect with as many people as possible to get them involved helping to create a new blueprint for our future.  Our Street Team will be crisscrossing the city for the next several months sharing information in variety of ways and signing people up to become project ambassadors.

No matter whether you’re a block club, non-profit, CDC, faith-based group, or business association; we would like to meet with you to share information and answer your questions.

If you want a Long Team Planning team member to visit your meeting; or you are looking for more information about becoming an ambassador, please call 313-962-0389 or e-mail [email protected].

What is an Ambassador?  How do I become one?

Ambassadors are people that are engaged with the project who can share the information they’ve learned with their peers.

Ambassadors help to fuel the conversation about our city’s future and take the information to the people, whether it’s at their block club or neighborhood association meeting, their business, or even while talking with people after church services.

There is an Ambassador Training Program that provides Ambassadors with the information they need to discuss the project, gather the expertise of others, and bring it back so it can be blended with technical analysis being done.

It’s easy, and free to become an Ambassador.  All you have to do is have a desire to help shape the future of our city for the better, and click here to sign up.
