Detroit 24/7 is an online game on Community PlanIt that gives game players an opportunity to creatively think, learn and share ideas about the Detroit community’s future.

For Detroit to work we need action today and we need to start planning for tomorrow. We heard the nearly 10,000 of you who told us as much in 2010. Since its inception the Detroit Works Project has gathered critical data that can help us do both. In order to help address the needs you face every day, Mayor Dave Bing introduced the Short Term Actions in July of 2011, and reintroduced the Long Term Planning in December of 2011 to move forward with developing a new road map for our city’s future.  Each informs the other, with our day-to-day made better not only because there’s work being done now, but because that very same work can help show the way toward what can, and needs to be done tomorrow.
